Hi everyone I would like to ask your help today. On the 10th of July 2015 a young Afrikaner couple Braam and Izulda Blignaut was attacked on their farm. Braam was shot 3 times in front of his sons in his back and is now paralyzed and the chances of him ever walking again are very slim. Braam is struggling with the wheelchair he given because it is not suitable for someone with a spinal injury and he has to sit in it for long periods of time. When I spoke to Braam I could hear the sadness, the helplessness and the pain that this poor young man has to suffer. He told me that he has nothing left. He was the bread winner and now his little family is suffering because the black thugs shot him for R250!!! He has developed sores from this chair. Braam says " I get up in the morning my wife helps me to bath and dress and I start my day I am not one for sleeping the whole day. I have to do something, my children have to go to school we need to eat. Who is going to employ me now? They took my life" I had to swallow my tears because this man even though he went through what he did still has hope that one day he will have feeling back in his legs. The special chair for spinal injuries is very costly. I phoned around and the best price we got with the special pillows is R17 000. Please please everyone lets help this man to get his wheelchair.
