Jason Stanley Davies went missing after informing his roommate Laura Irving that he was being followed
Jason Stanleigh (Stan) Davies who went missing on 2 December last year is yet to be found.
Davies was last seen at the Hatfield Gautrain station on his way to the University of Pretoria.
His mother, Marlene Davies, who lives in Cape Town, said she had last seen her son in April 2014 because the two lived in different provinces.
She said she learned he was missing when his roommate Laura Irving called her to ask where her son was.
Irving said Davies sent her a message saying he believed he was being followed by a man who had boarded the taxi with him to the station, and that his phone battery was running low.
At 12:36 he said that he would contact Irving as soon as he arrived safely at the university.
That was the last communication.
Marlene said she was unhappy with the police officer assigned to her son’s missing case because he was rude, but has found Pink Ladies more helpful.
“He said to me as soon as I know where my son is, I can call him,” Davies said.
“A part of me died when Stan disappeared, I am the only parent that kept my children together.”
Marlene said her son wanted to be a teacher.
Davies was last seen carrying a blue Quicksilver rucksack containing his laptop, he was also in possession of his ID and cell phone.
He has light green eyes, is 1.7m tall with a medium build and short brown hair.
