#ATTACK: VIDEO: Mother, children hide in study during brazen daylight armed attack & hostage drama





NATIONAL NEWS & VIDEO - Police are investigating a case of house robbery after an unknown number of armed black attackers broke into a house on Blignaut Street in Van Riebeeck Park, Kempton Park on Sunday just after 15:00.


Goods to the value of about R200 000, including three TVs, two laptops, three cellphones and two tablets, were stolen.
According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, a mother and her two children were in the house when armed black attackers, driving a silver Mercedez Benz, lifted the gate off its rails and broke into the house.

“When the family saw the armed robbers, they locked themselves in the study. The suspects, carrying firearms, pushed the door open and proceeded to take items in the house and loaded it into their vehicle,” explained Molokomme.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
