#ATTACK: Shot Suspect Looses Eye after home invasion: Durban - Kwazulu Natal

The Armed Robbery suspect (picture 4) shot in the face & chest in Verulam - Kwazulu Natal on Thursday morning has lost his eye after an operation at a Durban Hospital. 5 heavily armed suspects held a 65 year old grandmother, a 17 year old female & the domestic worker at gunpoint during the House invasion.

Three suspects were arrested during a shootout
with members of Reaction Unit South Africa & a hijacked car was recovered.

All three suspects were denied bail & remanded in Police custody when they appeared in the Verulam Magistrates Court today. They have been linked to 15 serious crimes including an hijacking committed in Newlands - KZN on the same  morning of the Verulam armed robbery.

The injured suspect is currently under police guard at a Government Hospital & remains in a critical condition.
