Durban - A brutal farm attack in Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal, saw a couple bound, beaten with pangas and pistol-whipped at the hands of their attackers.
The men, who accosted Ricky Dinkelmann and his wife Rene when he returned to his workshop on Tuesday night, stole valuables and firearms

The suspects tied up the domestic worker and destroyed the house. The domestic worker said they talked about stabbing her but never did. The safe was broken of the wall but they did not manage to open it. Access to the farm can be from Deerpark road or the road taking you to Tarentaalrand. Northern Security Armed response officers Sam, Pieter and Lefty was quickly on the scene followed by the Saps. Goods was taken but I can not confirm what items are missing. Be alert!
